The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is reinforcing its global tourism footprint by engaging in top international platforms, leading a delegation of 40 key partners including Yas Island, Air Arabia, Saadiyat Island, Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi, and more. In a recent address, Abdulla Yousuf, Director of International Operations at DCT Abu Dhabi, emphasized the emirate's strategic direction to position itself as a leading cultural and tourism hub while fostering sustainable growth through collaborative partnerships.
A significant launch is the Welcome Pass, created in partnership with Alike, a social travel marketplace. Distributed at Abu Dhabi Airport upon arrival, this digital pass allows seamless access to cultural landmarks and entertainment venues, enhancing the visitor experience.
Further enriching Abu Dhabi’s hospitality sector, DCT Abu Dhabi announced the upcoming launch of the Al Dhafra Resort, Vignette Collection by IHG. The resort will offer 105 rooms and suites blending Arabian heritage with modern luxury, and curated experiences such as camel rides, falcon shows, sand artistry, Arabic Qahwa tastings, and wellness sessions.
To amplify its year-round promotional efforts, the Experience Abu Dhabi: Easter 2025 campaign will premiere internationally. Targeting key markets including the UK, France, Italy, and Germany, the campaign invites travellers to discover Abu Dhabi under the vibrant theme “Make Abu Dhabi Your Easter Surprise.”
These initiatives reflect Abu Dhabi’s commitment to innovative tourism development and experiential travel, positioning the emirate as a year-round destination for global travellers.
