Resorts World Cruises is expanding its presence in the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman with Resorts World One, a 6-month homeport deployment in Dubai, UAE. Starting from 18 October 2024, the cruise ship will depart from Dubai, offering Indian guests the option to embark on cruise adventures to popular destinations within the region. The itineraries include the 2 Night Sir Bani Yas Weekend Cruise, a 3 Night Oman Cruise to Khasab and Muscat, and a 2 Night Doha Cruise. Indian guests can combine two or all three itineraries to increase the cruise length to 4, 5, or 7 Night Cruises.
From 24 October to 2 November 2024, Doha will be added as a homeport for Indian travellers. This will allow them to enjoy two 2 Night Dubai Cruises and two 5 Night Dubai–Khasab-Muscat Cruises. Shore excursions and onboard activities allow passengers to immerse themselves in the rich cultural tapestry of Dubai and the surrounding region, including iconic landmarks, heritage sites, and shopping destinations.
Resorts World One is expected to make 75 calls in the region with 150,000 passengers over the 6-month period, contributing significantly to the growth of cruise tourism in the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman. The company will attract a new segment of Fly-Cruise passengers from India, increasing diversity in the Arabian Gulf cruise market.
