Itinerary

Day1 Guwahati – Cherrapunji

Upon arrival at Guwahati airport/ railway station, you'll be transferred to Cherrapunji. En-route, visit Mawkdok Valley, Nohsngithiang Falls, and Mawsmai Cave. After trekking through the cave, you'll visit the Eco Park. On arrival, check -in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure . Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.

Day 2 Cherrapunji –Mawlynnong –Dawki –Shillong

In the morning, explore Mawlynnong Village to visit the Living Root Bridge. Then, drive to Dawki , passing through lush green valleys and waterfalls. Enjoy a boat ride in Dawki River and proceed to Shillong. On arrival, check -in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day3 Shillong – Guwahati –Siliguri

After breakfast, visit Shillong peak, Elephanta Falls, Ward's Lake and Cathedral Catholic Church. Then, proceed back to Guwahati, drop you off at the Guwahati railway station for overnight train journey to Siliguri.

Day 4 Siliguri – Darjeeling

Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, Bagdogra Airport, or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand, meet tours representative and proceed to Darjeeling.On arrival, check -in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 5 Darjeeling

Early morning, visit to Tiger Hill and return to hotel . En-route, visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial, and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, enjoy a half-day city tour of Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, Tea Estate, Natural History Museum, and Peace Pagoda. Evening free to stroll around the Mall area or Chowk Bazaar.Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 6 Darjeeling –Gangtok

After breakfast, check - out from the hotel and proceed to Gangtok. On arrival, check -in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 7 Gangtok - Tsomgo - Gangtok

After breakfast, enjoy full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Later, visit Nathula Pass . In the evening , explore M G Road or local shopping center. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 8 Gangtok - Bagdogra – Departure

After breakfast , visit Enchey Monastery, Bakthang waterfalls, Nam Nang viewpoint, ropeway, flower show, Tibetology Research Institute and Do Drul Chorten Stupa. Later, transfer to Bagdogra airport / railway station for your onward journey.

Point to be Noted

Preplan your destination regarding your stay and tour. Never take advice of Taxi Drivers regarding your stay/tour. Please take information from Police Officers, "May I help you" counter, or any other Govt. recognized information Centers. If you face any harassment or law and order problem, you can dial 100 from nearest telephone for police assistance.
Adequate number of police officers are deputed in proper uniform outside the Arrival Hall and parking area. You can contact nearest police officer to intimate about undesirable elements and touts in your observation. Even though, police is taking utmost care, vigilance and surveillance over these elements, still it is felt that we can eliminate these elements effectively with passengers' active participation in the drive.
Kindly contact on counter "May I help you" available in "Arrival Hall" at airport for help and guidance.
Make sure that luggage is only given to a member of the hotel's bell staff and a receipt is issued for stored luggage. Never leave luggage or other expensive items unattended at airports or taxi stands.
Prefer pre-paid Taxi Booth for hired transportation, since it is governed by POLICE. In this system you have to pay in advance for Taxi Fare which is already approved by Authorities.
Be wary of unexpected persons coming to your hotel room. Never open the door to unsolicited room service or maintenance people. Contact the front desk if you have any doubts.
Carry pocketbooks in the bend of your elbow, held close to your body. If there is a long strap, wrap it around the bag. Carry credit cards and cash in your pockets.
Carry your wallet in an inside jacket pocket or side trouser pocket, never in the rear pocket.
Leave valuables and important papers, such as jewelry and passports, secured in your hotel's safe deposit box. Never leave these items unattended in your room or carry large sums of cash on your person.
