The Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI) has publicly reaffirmed its steadfast support for the Indian Armed Forces, recognizing their vital role in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty and security. In light of recent events, OTOAI has voiced strong opposition to the latest IMF bailout package extended to Pakistan, highlighting credible concerns that such financial aid could be diverted to support terrorism, destabilize the region, and threaten global peace. The association’s president, Himanshu Patil, has called on the Indian government to respond with decisive diplomatic measures, including the issuance of travel advisories against countries that directly or indirectly provide support to Pakistan. 
OTOAI emphasizes that travel is not merely an economic activity but also a reflection of a nation’s values and ethical principles, and it is imperative for India to convey a clear message that any form of support for terrorism, whether financial or disguised as humanitarian assistance, is unacceptable. Reiterating its commitment to national integrity, peace, and responsible international engagement, OTOAI urges Indian travelers and tour operators to make travel choices that align with the country’s interests and ethical stance on global issues.
